Spring Sturgeon Fishing Has Begun!

Spring is a welcome respite from a long, lockdown winter and sturgeon fishing is already heating up on the river.

Sturgeon Fishing and Conservation

We have been busy with juvenile sturgeon conservation over the winter months in partnership with the Fraser Valley Angling Guides Association and the Habitat Conservation Trust Fund. This represents is your sturgeon fishing license dollars at work. 100% of sturgeon fishing license fees are spent on conservation and habitat research here in British Columbia.

We have already begun what is shaping up to be a busy sturgeon fishing season in 2021 with all our Covid-19 safety measures in place to protect our guests and guides.
After a long winter with little food, the first food sources are entering the river and rising water temperatures signal the first “feeding frenzy” for white sturgeon in the Fraser. Double digit catch days are not uncommon this time of year.
Get in touch with us and set up your sturgeon fishing trip, you’ll be glad you did!
Tight lines,
Brandon Head Guide.
